Robert Wiznia, M.D., incumbent member of, and candidate for, reelection to the Woodbridge Zoning Board of Appeals, attended a one day conference for members of Connecticut Land Use commissions sponsored by the Connecticut Bar Association. The well attended meeting, held on March 23, 2019 at Wesleyan University, featured prominent attorneys lecturing on topics relevant to Woodbridge zoning issues.
“The meeting was very informative, and I look forward to sharing what I learned with the other members of the Zoning Board of Appeals,” said Dr. Wiznia. “One of the things that makes our town special is our carefully thought out zoning ordinances. Those who bring appeals to our Board deserve to have their situations assessed by a Board that is knowledgeable, informed and able to provide relief where appropriate. The Connecticut Bar Association does a tremendous service to both Zoning Board members and applicants throughout the state by sponsoring these conferences. We are in a better position to serve the Town of Woodbridge and appeal applicants with the knowledge gained from such events.”
