Calling all Amity High School graduates from 1984! It's time to dust off your yearbooks and reunite with classmates at the 40th Reunion on Saturday, April 20th, 2024.


The Woodbridge Education Association will be rewarding three $500 scholarships to deserving Amity High School seniors. The applicants must also have attended Beecher Road School. The scholarship committee is looking for students who embody the spirit and values of Beecher Road School.

Dean College is pleased to announce that Catherine Thomas of Woodbridge has earned a place on the Dean’s List for the Fall 2023 semester. Students named to the Dean’s List have demonstrated a serious commitment to their studies while at Dean College.


Bucknell University has released the dean’s list for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2023-24 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean’s list recognition.


Beecher School Recognized for Its Use of TechnologyBeecher Road School recently was named an Apple Distinguished School, a recognition by the Apple company for schools that are making exemplary use of technology in teaching and learning. Only two programs in Connecticut have earned that distinction


In an effort to stem the tide of teachers leaving the district and to support teacher retention, the Amity Board of Education and the Teachers Union have agreed to an unprecedented 13.5% salary increase spread over the next three school years.
