Local Students Shine: Dean's List Honors at Three Universities

Miami University

Oxford, OH - Arielle Likier was named to the Dean’s list at Miami University for the 2024 spring semester.  Miami University students who are ranked in the top twenty percent of undergraduate students within their division for the spring semester 2024 have been named to the Dean’s list recognizing academic performance.  Congratulations to Likier from Woodbridge, CT for this academic achievement.

University of Iowa

Iowa City, IA - Tyler Roy of Woodbridge, CT was among the more than 7,650 undergraduate students at the University of Iowa named to the dean’s list for the 2024 spring semester.  Roy is a fourth-year student in Iowa’s College of Engineering and is majoring in Civil Engineering.

Worcester Polytechnic Institute

Worcester, MA - Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) has announced that Luhai Tang, a member of the class of 2027 majoring in Robotics Engineering, was named to the university’s Dean’s List for academic excellence for the spring 2024 semester.  A total of 2,226 undergraduate students achieved the criteria required for WPI’s spring 2024 Dean’s List.  The criteria for the WPI Dean’s List differs from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA).  Instead, WPI defines the Dean’s List by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects.
