The iconic former Perry Sausage Building, located at 26 Kendall Street, was sold on June 4, 2024, by Richard P. Ballou of Houlihan Lawrence Wareck D’Ostilio to Harvest Beverage Group, represented by JD Altobello of Trophy Properties. With an impressive 21,518 square feet of space on 1.27 acres, this property has set a new benchmark for industrial price per square foot in the City of New Haven. The sale price was $2.5 million.

Originally built in 1965, the Perry Sausage Factory has stood as a testament to New Haven’s industrial history for decades. Now, the use of this storied property pays homage to its heritage, seamlessly blending food processing with functionality. Situated near New Haven’s port, 26 Kendall Street offers unparalleled access to the city’s industrial corridor. According to List agent/Broker Richard Ballou of Houlihan Lawrence Wareck D’Ostilio, who represented the seller in the transaction, “This sale is a representation of the New Haven market.” It’s great to see a local business be a part of the next chapter of this building’s history.
