Colleagues from Point32Health, the parent company of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan, volunteered at Massaro Community Farm in Woodbridge during the company’s annual Volunteer Week June 10 – 14th.  More than 1,900 colleagues volunteered 5,400+ hours at nearly 90 projects in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. Point32Health colleagues volunteered in the communities where they live and work and supported organizations providing critical services and addressing social determinants of health, including expanding food and housing security, supporting education, improving neighborhoods, advancing social support and preserving the environment.  Supporting communities through volunteerism is one way Point32Health advances community health and helps make a difference across the region.

This is an opinion not necessarily endorsed by the Woodbridge Town News.
