Bard Academy at Simon's Rock

Great Barrington, MA – It’s not every day that high school students break with tradition to attend a school that prepares them to enter college after the 10th grade, but for this Woodbridge, CT student, that’s exactly the case.  This year, Finley Crout joined the Fall 2024 class at Bard Academy at Simon's Rock, the nation's first two-year high school for boarding and day students.  Crout's academic and personal achievements stood out, securing Finley a spot at Bard Academy this fall.  Finley will automatically matriculate into Bard College at Simon’s Rock after 10th grade, establishing a clear path for continued intellectual engagement and success.

Anna Lu Inducted into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi

Baton Rouge, LA - Anna Lu of Woodbridge, CT, was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society.  Lu was initiated at University of Bridgeport.  Lu is among approximately 20,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year. Membership is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by a chapter.
