Knights of Columbus Council #5467 will be building 20 beds for local children lacking this basic amenity. On June 15th, at Our Lady of Assumption Parish in Woodbridge, CT, Knights and parish volunteers will work diligently with power tools, lumber, hardware, and mattresses to construct 20 high-quality beds. Their efforts are coordinated with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing beds for children.

The Knights will deliver these beds to local children. The delivery of these beds is a fitting testament to Blessed Michael McGivney’s service on behalf of the needy and the outcast, especially widows and orphans.

The Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic fraternal service organization. Over two million Knights live their faith in action through volunteer service and charitable contributions. Please visit kofc.org for more information.
